You know the full weight of living up to
everyone else’s expectations of you
– as a son, husband, father –
let alone the ones you have of yourself.

Am I good enough? Man enough?
Do I have what it takes?

You know the weight
of living up to everyone
else’s expectations of you –
as a son, husband, father –
let alone the ones
you have of yourself.

Am I good enough?
Man enough?
Do I have what it takes?

You know the feeling, the thoughts, the stress that comes with this weight.

It’s too much!
Sometimes I feel like I’m going to crumble under the pressure.

It’s overwhelming! There are so many things I know I need to work on.

It’s too late! My marriage has already crumbled, and I don’t know if it can be saved. My kids are too distant. I’ve been too absent or caused too much pain. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to make my dad proud of me.

Where do I even start?! I know I can’t fix everything overnight or even in a week, but I know I need to start somewhere. But what’s the point if it won’t change anything?!

You know you want more from life!

So what are you doing with it?

Quitting? Giving up? Feel like walking away entirely?

Or maybe you just sedate yourself with food, porn, substances, or even work. Anything to get your mind off the pain of having to actually deal with it.

Just escape.
Just avoid it.

Wishing things would change is futile.

So yeah, you could be crushing it at work, but your marriage could be falling apart.

Maybe your marriage is great but you’re eating yourself into an early grave by the food and drink you consume, or the overwhelming neglect of your body.

Maybe your family life is great but you’re financially headed toward ruin.

And where does that leave you?

For many of us, maybe hopeless.
Or worse, apathetic. Asleep.
In maintenance mode.
Just going through the motions of life.

Lost and wandering.

Content to be a good, nice guy.

Is that what you want to be known as?!
Just a good, nice guy?!

Life doesn’t care who you are or what you’ve done. Nothing hits harder than life.

You’re either coming out of a fight, in the middle of one, or preparing to go into one.

What is it costing you to stay on this trajectory?
What will it cost you to not do something about it? Today?!

Make no mistake about it – it is costing you something.

But the choice to do something about it – right now, this moment – lies squarely on your shoulders!
Not on your wife. Not on your kids. Not on your parents.
This is on you.

You want to be a better man? A better husband? A better father? A better son?

Stop making excuses or lying to yourself by saying, ‘Nah, I’m okay. I’m good.”

If good is all you want, then fine. Stay where you are.

But for those of you who are ready for a change, or even for you young guns who want to set your life course off on a great start, start here.

Help a brother out!

When you read this, maybe you’re thinking about how thankful you are that you’re actually in a really good place in most every area of your life.

But you know someone who isn’t.

A brother, a friend, a son. And you know that things can be better.
But you know it’s going to take some hard work
and some hard conversations facing the facts of reality.

So maybe you’re not in a fight right now, but you’ve been through a few,
and you care too much to just let them stay where they are.

We fight FOR one another.

Fri, Sep 27, 6-9pm
Sat, 9/28, 8am-12pm

Hosted by Covenant Church

An event to awaken and
empower the heart of every man
to train and to fight for
what matters most.

This will not be your standard, run-of-the-mill, kumbaya men’s event.
Being a great man doesn’t just happen by wishing for it.
You train for it.

No matter what season of life you’re in,
young and old, embrace the fight.
Let’s get after it!

Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and FIGHT for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.
